I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Runic Games’ Torchlight is pretty freakin’ sweet. Now, I haven’t played through the entire game and I won’t be able to discuss the ins and outs of how it stacks up to other current titles in the genre, but I do know one thing; every time I see something from this game it makes me wanna buy it. Case in point, the recently released launch trailer features sweet music, great art, and gameplay that just looks fun. Check it out for yourself after the jump and see if you agree.

They have taken so many elements from Diablo to such an extent I wonder how it is legal
But if you like Diablo, this is a truly awesome game. I only wish it had more characters and multiplayer.
Some things that were annoying in mentioned game have been improved here. When you exit the game, you will start at the same place again next time you open it. You can send your pet to sell stuff while you go on and kill etc. Klara KuQuote
I’ve beaten the game once and am about to beat for the second time now.
Personally the only problem I have with this game is that there really isn’t any reason to continue playing after you’ve beaten it.
You might want to start over again and try beating it as another class, but there’s no real incentive to continue leveling in the infinite dungeon after you kill the final boss. Partly because of the lack of multilayer and the partly because the items don’t scale properly after lvl 30-ish.
Still it’s a good game, well worth the 20 bucks, I just hope they release the modding tools soon, preferably before the 10th of November. BoasGQuote
