Whip up a warm cup of nostalgia as six pretty rockin’ SEGA Genesis titles of old have been released today via XBL. Altered Beast, Comix Zone, Gunstar Heroes, Phantasy Star II, Shinobi, and Sonic The Hedgehog 3 are now available in all Xbox Live countries for 400 MS points each.

Wait a minute, I was under the impression this was a collection. They actually want me to pay 400MS for a game that in its day was awesome, and has plenty of Nostalgia for me but in todays market is so easy to pass up for something more up to date. It annoys me especially as all the games mentioned above were awesome and looking at them together, that would be a collection that I definetly would invest in.
Plus do they realise that these games are available on Wii VC. I mean especially in the case of Phantasy Star, they have 2, 3 and 4. All i’m saying is that MS were good in rereleased 2 decade old games on the basis that they were in a collection so you were getting a few for one purchase. Seperating them with that price point seems counter productive to me and isn’t going to shift as many as they have seen from their collections.
