In our humble opinion, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is shaping up to be a great Next-Gen successor to the series. With Kojima now at the helm to point it in the right direction and all, we can’t wait to get our hands on it and we’re pretty sure you can’t either.

Anyway, if you’ve watched the E3 trailer countless times as we have and done some online research on the title, you know there’s some hidden goodies in the trailer to be seen. Now, a new GT Pop-Block has arrived to show us exactly what we may have missed and further build our anticipation for the game.

Get the goods after the jump..

Wow…What a week! E3 2009 was a huge, huge, HUGE success for pretty much everyone involved and since I was on-hand to check out the new titles, I thought I’d deliver a bit of insight into which ones I actually got some playtime with and which where my personal favorites. Before I get to that though, I’d like to deliver the biggest of internet shout outs to my colleagues and friends at both GameTrailers and EpicBattleAxe. To a man (and woman), everyone stepped up and busted ass to make E3 2009 a fantastic experience. Of course, it helps that some interesting console news and absolutely huge titles served as the subject matter for us to cover, but nonetheless, I’m taken back by how great of a job everyone did on both sides. Totally awesome stuff!!!

Now, if you’re interested in checking out a general synopsis of my thoughts on the show, you can view an abbreviated version in this week’s edition of the EpicBattleCry podcast. If you, like my wife and mother, but unlike most people, would like to check out extended versions of my thoughts, ramblings, and musings on the HAWT SHIZZLE, you can do so below. Either way, I thank you in advance for understanding that there is NO WAY to cover every game (actually, there is, but I don’t have the time…), and knowing that my opinions are, uh, OPINIONS and aren’t meant to flame the fire of fanboyism that fuels the beloved console war…

Here we go!

Hey all, we’re up late, we’re tired, we’re drunk. But we’re also totally pumped over E3. So we jumped on a quick skype call and decided to run through our thoughts on the first day of E3 2009. We talk over our favorite moments from the Microsoft press conference, drool over BioWare’s trailer for The Old Republic, and speak our minds about the Xbox 360 Natal demo.

This is the crew of EpicBattleCry off the cuff, uncut, and on tap.

Put your foot down and stand! We’re a bit late, but as you can imagine, between migrating the site and prepping for the biggest game conference of the year, its been a busy weekend! Having said that, the special edition pre-E3 skirmish of EpicBattleCry is here.

This past weekend, we laid out our picks for the conference, running down the list of the games we’re hungry to see show at E3 2009. God of War III, Mass Effect 2, Trico, Modern Warfare 2, Dark Void and more make the cut as we run down the most anticipated titles of E3.

The Battle Cry of the week goes to King of Fighters IV, OnLive for being AWOL at the biggest gaming event of the year, Duke Nukem Forever and the hope it may yet see the light of day, and…hockey. Remember to sound off below and each week we’ll pick a new comment to become the next Member Battle Cry.

In this week’s skirmish we hack and slash our way to the bona fides on Bioware’s new Star Wars MMO, pontificate on Hollywood’s latest video-game-to-film efforts, and ask the hardest question of all: now that E3 is coming back, does it still matter? Plus we run the gauntlet with the latest gaming news of the day.

The Battle Cry of the Week goes to the botched Street Fighter IV PC release, seeing David Hasselhoff in PAIN, and Wii Music’s wee attempt to matter.
