Oh yeah…this won’t cause any commotion whatsoever. Pandemic Studios just released the details on its day-one DLC “The Midnight Show” for the upcoming and seemingly final Pandemic game, The Saboteur and well…the above picture sums it up.
According to Joystiq the DLC will feature new Parisian hiding spots, a new minigame of some kind and of course, the option to play the game with nudity turned on.
“The Midnight Show” will come free with any new copy of The Saboteur and for those buying the game second hand the option will be available to purchase the pack for $2.99/240.
OK, so I can see where Pandemic is going with this. Will it cause some media attention? Most definitely. Will this move more copies of the game? Probably. Will it have the same effect as say Mass Effect‘s side boob? Absolutely not. Some would say this is a load of crap, but after what happened to Pandemic Studios a little over a week ago, who can blame them for having a little fun. Thoughts?
I say good for them, i think its hilarious. I mean their studio is done for anyways, why not leave a little bit of controversy as a farewell gift?
Plus it looks like a good game, maybe this will provoke a few pervs or horny teens to buy the game and discover that not only do you get nudity, but also a good game.
Another day one DLC. So now they can just take out content from games and release it simultaneously? At least before they delayed such DLC to appear like they made it separately.
Why is this considered like a load of crap? Why shouldn’t there be nudity? He’s in a strip club or something. And there are strip clubs in Paris.

‘tarded. Just a gimmick to increase sales of new versions of the game, which proffits EA more than any used copies sold. Should have been included, not DLC – like it IS on the PC version. Just another example of “well, the game is done, what should we do for DLC? I know, let’s rip out part of the game and then sell it as an addon!” ‘tarded.
My only question is if we buy Saboteur does pandemic get any money for it or does only EA get the money?
Speaking generally the (former) pandemic people have gotten their paycheques from EA, who now makes their reimbursement/profit from sales. The pandemic people higher on the ladder are likely still entitled to bonuses based on whether the game makes enough money, but otherwise, no – your purchase mainly goes to EA’s coinpurse.
